Solutions Architect

Interested in getting in at the ground floor of a new, disruptive company attacking an important multi-billion-dollar problem? Businesses and consumers continue to demand increasing data services at an exponential rate -- streaming, deep learning, analytics, loT connectivity, and more. What this means is higher performing CPUs, components, servers and ultimately Data and Edge computing centers, all generating excessive heat that is increasingly difficult to manage with traditional cooling systems. Accelsius is developing revolutionary direct-to-chip, 2-Phase cooling technologies that empower and enable Server OEMs, Data Centers, Edge Computing Operators, and 5G Edge deployments to meet performance, sustainability, scale, and cost goals while serving this high-growth market for data services.

Accelsius is looking for a Solutions Architect to address various aspects of the Accelsius’ solution lifecycle, from understanding customer requirements to post-implementation support. This position will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and the right candidate will interact effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the channel in developing proposals and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models for optimized solutions
  • Develop reference architecture for mechanical and thermal solutions, plan testing of peripheral solutions, and manage the interoperability matrices
  • Work directly with end-customers and partners to create unique high-level solutions, managing the program from a schedule, resource, and planning POV before handing over to CTO/Eng teams
  • Manage the deployment and shipping activities of multiple rack form factors and technologies with trusted partners and vendors
  • Collaborate with the Research and Development team to scope, validate, and deliver optimized solutions tailored to unique customer requirements
  • Continuously align with Product Management to monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data center cooling to propose innovative and cutting-edge solutions
  • Present the technology and company vision to various external stakeholders (customers, VARs, partners) at varying levels of expertise to win new business

Qualifications for this role include:

  • 5-10 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (e.g., electrical, civil, mechanical, etc.)
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Experience with Commercial HVAC or other pressurized systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to Executive level, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional interpersonal and empathy skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Must bring curiosity, a willingness to be hands-on, professionalism, a positive attitude, and a focus on problem-solving
  • Datacenter Cooling experience preferred
  • Server/Compute experience across multiple top tier OEMs
  • Knowledge on various OEM rack vendors and form factors a plus
  • Packaging and shock / vibration experience a plus
