Job Summary
As the Director of Business Development and Integration, you will be responsible for driving growth opportunities through strategic partnerships, alliances, and mergers/acquisitions (M&A). Additionally, you will oversee the seamless integration of acquired businesses or new partnerships into our organization. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, business acumen, and strong leadership to achieve company objectives and foster sustainable growth.
Responsibilities: 
1.    Integration Strategy and Execution:
o    Develop integration strategies and plans to harmonize newly acquired businesses or partnerships with existing operations.
o    Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including finance, sales, operations, legal, and HR) across Reconomy Circular Solutions North America, Reconomy Recycle Division and Reconomy Group levels to execute integration plans effectively and efficiently.
o    Implement change management strategies to address cultural differences and align organizational objectives.
2.    Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):
o    Identify potential M&A targets aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and growth plans.
o    Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and valuation assessments of potential acquisitions.
o    Negotiate terms and conditions, and lead the integration process post-acquisition to ensure seamless transition and realization of synergies.
3.    Strategic Planning and Execution:
o    Work closely with executive leadership to define long-term strategic goals and objectives related to business development and integration.
o    Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development initiatives and integration efforts against strategic benchmarks and KPIs.
o    Make recommendations for adjustments to strategies and tactics based on market trends, competitive landscape, and business performance.
4.    Leadership and Team Development:
o    Lead and mentor a team of business development and integration professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
o    Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the business development and integration teams.
5.    Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
o    Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and board members to provide updates on business development initiatives, M&A activities, and integration progress.
o    Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and industry events to enhance visibility and forge strategic partnerships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
•    Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in business development, mergers and acquisitions, or corporate strategy, with a focus on integrating acquired businesses.
•    Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with experience in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
•    Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
•    Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
•    Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and navigate complex business environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
•    Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or change management (e.g., Prosci) is advantageous.
•    Experience in industries such as technology, healthcare, finance, or manufacturing where business development and M&A activities are critical to growth.
