What you will be Doing:

  • Assist with the installation and setup of automation systems, including wiring, programming, and configuring controllers, sensors, and actuators.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with automated equipment, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Perform systematic testing to pinpoint malfunctions in PLCs, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.
  • Assist in programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other automation devices.
  • Modify existing programs under the guidance of senior technicians or engineers.
  • Instrumentation, electrical and control system design support.
  • Provide support to project managers with a solid understanding of project execution procedures and functions such as scheduling, budget development and maintenance and scope tracking.


Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • RTU experience with one or more of the following vendor systems: ABB Totalflow/RMC, Emerson ROC/FloBoss, Schneider Electric SCADAPack.
  • Knowledge of PLC & HMI’s (such as Allen-Bradley, Idec, Siemens).
  • Knowledge and experience with various industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet IP, Profibus. ROC, etc).
  • PLC/HMI design and programming experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • PLC/HMI troubleshooting and debugging experience.
  • Basic understanding of electrical schematics and control diagrams.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Experience with on-site commissioning and start-up.
  • Understanding of industrial environments, engineering, and production processes.
  • Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean abstract.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Quick learner; able to adapt to new technologies rapidly.
  • A structured approach to problem solving and project execution with the ability to plan, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet expectations and deadlines.
  • Ability to work successfully both individually and within team environments.
  • Highly motivated & ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
  • Focus on client service.
