We are looking for a hard-working and committed In-Plant Technician to join our client's team. In-Plant Technicians are essential for ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing significantly to the overall success of the manufacturing operations.
Job Description
- Provide technical assistance and support to the plant's production team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, processes, and materials.
- Conduct routine tests and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
- Report any quality issues and assist in corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.
- Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all machinery is functioning properly.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated and operating according to specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits.
- Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.
Skills Required
- Highschool diploma / GED
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials used in the plant.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Keen eye for detail, particularly in quality control and documentation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using technical tools and software relevant to the industry.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or technical support role, preferably within the same industry.
