Job DescriptionJob Description

Curtze Food Service in Erie, PA, is seeking to hire a full-time mid-shift Warehouse Associate for its growing team. The associate will work in our restaurant equipment and supply facility, performing a variety of tasks to support the warehouse's workflow.

Wage: $17 - $20 per hour - based on experience

Shift: Monday through Friday 10:00 A.M. - 6:30 P.M. with an alternating Sunday requirement from 2:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.


Responsibilities:

  • Receive deliveries from suppliers
  • Process paperwork as needed
  • Put deliveries away
  • Independently and efficiently pick customer orders
  • Verify that all product picked matches the label
  • Build and wrap secure pallets
  • Label pallets correctly according to the delivery schedule
  • Load pallets onto the delivery trucks

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of this position, including lifting up to 80 pounds, standing and walking throughout the entire shift, bending, twisting, and climbing
  • Ability to work on surfaces such as concrete, wood, or metal that are sometimes wet or slippery

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, lift heavy items, stand and walk for long periods of time, operate electric pallet jacks safely, and analyze and build secure pallets.
