We are hiring an Accountant to analyze financial data and prepare core accounting records. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure the integrity of financial information used for informed business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process, including preparing general ledger entries, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Analyze financial data, prepare reports for management, and participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Assist with the preparation and filing of complex accounting entries and financial statements.
- Participate in internal control procedures and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Research and stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) to obtain and analyze financial data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
