We have an opening for a Purchasing / Accounts Payable / Front Desk Clerk. The purpose of this position is to assist with the front office/reception, purchasing, data entry and Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities:

Purchasing /Shipping / Receiving:

  • Assist Project Managers with purchasing of materials, office supplies and maintenance equipment using EPR system (Infor).
  • Follow-up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Handle, sort, distribute and process receipt of inbound materials.
  • Prepare and input data in ERP system (Infor) for daily outbound customer shipments.

Data Entry / Invoicing / Accounts Payable:

  • Review and process customer orders in ERP system.
  • Complete customer invoice process in ERP for daily shipments.
  • Data entry of vendor invoices in ERP system into Accounts Payable module.

Front Desk / Reception:

  • Monitor lobby and front office space to welcome and direct guests and vendors.
  • Handle inbound phone calls and direct as necessary.
  • Open US Mail daily and distribute as needed; send outgoing mail.

Other duties:

  • Filing, scanning, printing, Internet searches

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, experience in a logistics and purchasing role for an industrial component company a plus.
  • Automation manufacturing a plus
  • Familiarity with an ERP System and QuickBooks.
  • General office/Customer service skills – interact with guests at front desk, answer telephones, transfer calls, sort and deliver incoming and send outgoing mail, etc.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. required.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple activities.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast paced and team environment
  • High degree of detail orientation and data accuracy.
  • Self-starter, positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
