Job Summary:

The Sales Representative for Charging Stations is responsible for driving sales and expanding the customer base for electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. This role involves identifying potential clients, presenting charging station solutions, negotiating contracts, and building long-term relationships with businesses, municipalities, and other entities interested in EV infrastructure. The Sales Representative will be a key player in promoting the adoption of EV charging stations and contributing to the growth of the company's market share in the sustainable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:

    • Identify and target potential customers including businesses, property developers, municipalities, and fleet operators.

    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the EV charging industry.

    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets and expand the customer base.

    • Schedule and conduct meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of the company's charging station solutions.

    • Prepare and present customized proposals and contracts tailored to the specific needs of clients.

    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure new business and renew existing contracts.

  2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

    • Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients to ensure the successful implementation and operation of charging stations.

    • Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

    • Monitor client accounts to identify upselling opportunities and ensure long-term partnerships.

  3. Industry and Product Knowledge:

    • Stay informed about the latest developments in the EV charging industry, including technology advancements, regulatory changes, and market trends.

    • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product offerings, including hardware, software, and service options.

    • Provide clients with expert advice on selecting the right charging solutions based on their specific needs and goals.

  4. Collaboration and Coordination:

    • Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and installation of charging stations.

    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.

    • Provide feedback to product development teams regarding customer needs and potential product improvements.

  5. Administrative Duties:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, contracts, and account details in the CRM system.

    • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for management review.

    • Assist in the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy, technology, or automotive industries.

  • Willing to learn knowledge of electric vehicle infrastructure, charging technology, and industry standards is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.

Education and Experience:
