The job will be based in Windsor, CO, and will primarily be situated in an innovative office environment. The job could include some weekends and nights and could eventually require overnight travel occasionally. We are looking for a tremendously hardworking generalist who can help complete tasks across the business's various functions. The ideal candidate will have administrative, customer care, phone sales & account management experience. This position will help develop the procedures & processes necessary for a high-achieving internal phone, web & chat-based sales team,  while also helping with executive administrative work (ie. state registrations, sales tax, AR/AP, credits, damage claims, etc). This position will be directly responsible for the daily reconciliation of online sales (ensuring orders are properly recorded in NetSuite as a sales order for fulfillment and payments are properly applied to each invoice). Our company is a start-up so ideal candidates will be those looking for a unique opportunity in an entrepreneurial environment with different job tasks depending on the day. Your tasks won’t be defined or the same day to-day. 

Scope of the Position & Responsibilities:

• Assist President & CEO with administrative tasks required for the successful operation of the company including administrative tasks like state feed registrations, data entry, sales tax, AR/AP, damage claims, billing disputes, scheduling, booking transportation, invoicing, and general office tasks. 

• This position will be responsible for the daily reconciliation of online sales (ensuring orders are properly recorded in NetSuite as a sales order for fulfillment and payments are properly applied to each invoice).

• Implement company sales and marketing directives to achieve strategic sales plans and deliver consistent business results by educating and converting retailers and consumers to the company’s line of products.
• Cold call & nurture inbound leads to become a trusted advisor to independent pet retailers, feed stores & consumers.
• Primary responsibility within the business-to-business sales channel but will also contribute to the direct-to-consumer sales channel. 
• Prospect and develop new retail accounts via phone, web & chat-based tools to build relationships with retail sales personnel & consumers. Subsequent weekly management of the account relationship. 
• Prospect & record in NetSuite or similar programs lead opportunities for retail & consumer opportunities.
• Advise & implement digital & in-store marketing opportunities with independent pet retailers to incentivize growth. • Management of marketing budgets by account. 
• Ability to meet/exceed strategic sales & marketing objectives to increase market share and profitability of products.

• Day to day management of our social media creators’ program

• Ability to develop and work as part of a team, fostering relationships with sales, marketing, and operational support staff.
• Ability to respond efficiently and effectively to time-sensitive customer emails or requests; demonstrated attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Four-year degree and/or relevant work experience as an inside sales manager, administrative assistant, or account executive preferred. Recent college graduates, please apply.
• Basic knowledge of Apple/Mac computer/iPad operation, NetSuite ERP, Shopify, Zoom, Word/Excel/PowerPoint, email & Google/internet websites is required.
