Medical Assistant for Allergy Office in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Hiring for a Part time and Full-time Position

Allergy and Asthma Specialists of Michigan seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.

Educational Requirements:

High School Degree

Certified Medical Assistant

Qualifications:

Outgoing, friendly and have excellent communication skills

Punctual, reliable, skilled, self-motivated, and able to multitask.

Neat, professional appearance

Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients

Experienced with EMR

Must have a minimum of one year of experience

Experience in allergy and asthma preferred but willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities: (training available)

Allergy skin testing

Administration of Allergy shots

Perform spirometry testing

Patient Education

Completes appropriate documentation in the patient’s medical record

Assist in answering phone calls

Limited front desk duties include: scheduling patients, answering phones, registering patients, refills

Clinical Assistant to the Physician/provider

Job Type:

Fulltime is 32 hours. M-Th.

Some late evenings required. NO FRIDAYS OR WEEKENDS

Salary: $16.00-$21.00 per hour

Dependent on experience. Benefits including retirement, PTO, and medical for full time employees.
