Vern Eide Acura is a leading automotive service provider dedicated to offering exceptional customer service and top-notch vehicle maintenance. We are the home for Precision Crafter Performance. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

This position is a commission-based job with fantastic earning potential. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 4 pm. For every third Saturday worked, you will receive that prior Monday off.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Automotive Service Advisor to serve as the primary point of contact for our customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on vehicle repairs, maintenance services, and managing the service process from start to finish. You will work closely with our technicians to ensure that all services are performed efficiently and meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assist them with their service needs.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately diagnose vehicle issues.
  • Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and timelines for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle during the service process.
  • Ensure all services are performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Maintain customer records and service history.
  • Promote additional services and products that may benefit the customer.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive technology is a plus.
  • Prior experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software related to automotive service management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license.
