Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. This remote position requires an individual with extensive experience managing solar installation projects and a deep understanding of Arizona utilities, specifically SRP (Salt River Project) and APS (Arizona Public Service). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project management, a thorough knowledge of utility portals, and exceptional organizational and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Oversee all phases of solar installation projects from initial planning and design to final inspection and client handover.
  • Utility Management: Manage interactions with SRP and APS, including navigating their portals for approvals, incentives, and service requests.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, installers, and subcontractors, ensuring that all project requirements are met.
  • Scheduling and Budgeting: Develop project schedules, manage budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within financial constraints.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all project activities.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Project management experience in the solar industry with a focus on Arizona utilities (SRP and APS).
  • Utility Portal Expertise: Proven experience with SRP and APS utility portals, including familiarity with processes for permits, incentives, and service requests.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
