As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our revenue accounting functions and ensure the highest standards of financial reporting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for overseeing revenue recognition, managing revenue accounting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions in line with GAAP and company policies. Review and analyze contracts for proper revenue recognition.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review revenue-related financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes. Assist in preparing audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a small team of revenue accountants, fostering a high-performance culture. Conduct performance evaluations and develop growth plans for team members.
  • Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard revenue processes and data integrity.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the revenue accounting function to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, billing, technology, and legal to ensure alignment in revenue recognition. Provide support and guidance on revenue-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • CPA or equivalent certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably in the telecommunications, real estate, or technology sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Must be in office 3 days a week.
