Job Summary

The Account Relationship Specialist plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining a productive relationship between the company and clients. Acting as a link between clients and upper management, the Account Relationship Specialist communicates with clients and assists them, over the phone or via email in addition to preparing reports and other deliverables on a day-to-day basis.

 

Responsibilities

Account Relationship Specialist may do some or all the following:

 

  • Act as representative on behalf of Credit Control and provide quality client service, building sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
  • Ensures delivery of excellent client service through fast and accurate processing of mail, communications, and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquires.
  • Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Provide accurate, detailed, and immediate information to clients: Ask questions to clarify requests/concerns and take necessary actions to respond in a timely manner or escalate client requests to the appropriate parties within the organization.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Keep records of customer interactions. • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies

. • Various other duties as assigned by management.

 

Education and Qualifications

▪ High school diploma required ▪ Previous experience in the collection industry preferred

▪ Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

▪ Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications ▪ Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including email messaging, Microsoft Word, and Excel

▪ Excellent time management and organizational skills

▪ Excellent oral and written communication skills

▪ Ability to multitask, and adapt to changing demands and shifting priorities

 

Skills Required

To be successful, as Account Relationship Specialist must possess strong written and verbal communications skills, as the majority of duties involve interacting with clients. Duties require excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. In addition, time management and multitasking skills are also important, as the Client Service Specialist may be given several different tasks at a time.
