The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading department-level restaurant operations. This role requires a strong leader who models and demonstrates our Core Values. Success in this position is measured by consistently delivering balanced results through our systems, methods, and procedures, with a focus on guest satisfaction and financial performance. Ultimately, the Restaurant Manager will drive sustained growth in sales and profits through exceptional leadership in people, business, and results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all restaurant operations, including staff management, guest service, and financial performance.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing restaurant team aligned with The Capital Grille's core values.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences by ensuring impeccable service standards.
  • Achieve sales and profitability goals by managing labor costs, food and beverage inventory, and expenses.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of current, salaried management experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant or high-end resort restaurant.
  • Strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and guest service.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams.  
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations systems, methods, and processes, including financial management, inventory control, and labor scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
