Job Summary:

We are searching for energetic and compassionate teachers who enjoy working with 1-year olds.

As a teacher, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, developing lesson plans, promoting social development, and maintaining a clean, organized, and positive learning environment.

Work Schedule:

We have full-time positions available.

Full Time positions available are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate learning activities and lesson plans, helping to promote cognitive, physical, and social development.
  • Supervise, maintain and provide a clean, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Assist in managing classroom behavior and ensuring children follow established routines for meals, playtime, naps, and other activities.
  • Establish positive relationships with parents and caregivers and maintain open lines of communication to provide regular updates on children's progress.
  • Conduct regular assessments and maintain accurate records of children's development, progress, and milestones.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on childcare and teaching best practices.
  • Ensure all licensing and safety requirements are met, including those set by state and federal laws, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, must be at least 18 years of age
  • EDU 119 (NC Early Childhood Education Credentials) College coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of child development, positive discipline, and age-appropriate learning strategies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with adults and children, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.

Salary/Benefits:

Salary is based on length of previous experience working in a childcare or daycare setting and level of education. Pay starts at $15 per hour and is adjusted based on education level and years of experience.
