Job description
To maximize sales revenue and gross profit by developing new customers and ensuring continued customer satisfaction of existing accounts at the corporate and branch offices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes sale of products and services:
- Contacting, qualifying, developing, and quoting prospective customers.
- Maintaining relationships with current accounts.
- Ensures customer satisfaction of assigned accounts:
- Maintains continual customer contact.
- Visits accounts to make formal presentations, coordinate technical engineering advice, and rapidly respond to customer requests.
- Provides management with information to be communicated to appropriate departments:
- External customer information:
- Quotations, account qualifications, profiles, contact reports, etc.
- Monitors status of sales efforts:
- Tracks progress of recent customer quotations, the acceptance of proposed application recommendations and the bookings of purchase orders received by utilizing the database in concert with customer service.
- Daily and weekly CRM utilization for account information, sales and general account information.
Attributes:
- Must be a go-getter with a consistent and disciplined personality. This position takes someone with a never-give-up attitude and is constantly working on prospecting and cultivating new business as well as continuing to grow current business.
- Supports company quality system by:
- Following, understanding and practicing company policies, procedures and work instructions as described in the quality manual.
- Contributes to company success by:
- Performing any other functions or duties as may be assigned or determined by the management of the company. Accepting full responsibility for the quality of their job with complete conformance to customer expectations and requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree education and prefer to have 2-4 years of related account management or sales experience.
