The successful candidate will need to have the ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

●       Experience with month end closings

●       Reconciles bank and credit card statements

●       Comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable/accounts receivable

●       Enter payables

●       Daily deposits

●       Update account schedules

●       Fill out credit applications and sales tax-exempt forms

●       Reconciles vendor statements and reaches out to them for missing copies

●       Maintain vendor lists with current addresses and tax identification numbers

●       Obtain W-9s on all vendors and keep them in W-9 folder

●       Verify that all vendors have insurance and worker’s compensation coverage letter

●       Prints invoices from vendors daily via e-mail

●       Other duties as assigned by management

  

Requirements

●       Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps

●       Team player and dependable

●       Demonstrates urgency to meet commitments

●       Excellent organization skills

●       Detailed and can work independently

 

Experience and Education Requirements

●       Associate degree in related field

●       Two to four years’ experience in accounting field

●       Experience in Business Central (BC) a plus

●       Familiarity with basic accounting principles
