Pride Health is hiring a Research Associate to support our client’s medical facility based in Burlington, NC. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Responsibilities:

·         Developing microbial sequencing protocols and assays.

·         This position is responsible for working with supervisor/team to develop protocols, reviewing results, assisting in design of relevant experiments, and keeping supervisor informed.

·         Independently designs and conducts critical experiments that further project goals and performs troubleshooting when necessary.

·         Implements and may innovate new experimental protocols.

·         Performs complex biochemical and data analysis tasks competently and independently.

·         Conduct data analysis and create reports for supervisory review.

·         May generate reports sufficient to be submitted as peer- reviewed publication.

·         The primary project for this position will be to support development and validation of respiratory pathogen surveillance technology.

Qualifications:

·         Associate's degree in medical technology or related field required.

·         Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field preferred. 0-2 years' experience required.

·         Location: Burlington, NC

·         Job Type: 3-month contract

·         Schedule: 1st shift 8am – 5pm

·         Pay Range: $25 - $28/hr

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
