Pride Health is hiring a Research Associate to support our client’s medical facility based in Burlington, NC. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Responsibilities:

Developing microbial sequencing protocols and assays.

This position is responsible for working with supervisor/team to develop protocols, reviewing results, assisting in design of relevant experiments, and keeping supervisor informed.

Independently designs and conducts critical experiments that further project goals and performs troubleshooting when necessary.

Implements and may innovate new experimental protocols.

Performs complex biochemical and data analysis tasks competently and independently.

Conduct data analysis and create reports for supervisory review.

May generate reports sufficient to be submitted as peer- reviewed publication.

The primary project for this position will be to support development and validation of respiratory pathogen surveillance technology.


Qualifications:

Associate's degree in medical technology or related field required.

Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field preferred. 0-2 years' experience required.


Additional Information:

Location: Burlington, NC

Job Type: 3-month contract

Schedule: 1st shift 8am – 5pm

Pay Range: $25 - $28/hr


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
