PrideStaff is recruiting for CNC Machine Operators for All Shifts for a precision machining company located in Marion.
Job Summary: Produces hardened parts per specifications, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Operator is also responsible for Thermal Debur operations (Kennametal).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform CNC operations
- Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)
- Use manufacturing paperwork (travelers, work instructions)
- Manufacture product that meets quality requirements. Inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection. If non-conforming, inform department head or supervisor
- Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work
- Correctly process work via required paperwork
- Maintains specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year CNC milling experience preferred
- Study and or certifications related to CNC machining preferred
- Must understand basic shop math
- Ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
