We are currently in search of a Skilled Maintenance Technician for our Marion, AR facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to all plant departments, focusing on the daily troubleshooting of equipment within a highly automated automotive manufacturing environment. This role includes performing breakdown maintenance, corrective maintenance, and preventative maintenance across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
  • Utilize knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles to identify equipment malfunctions and restore functionality.
  • Provide mechanical, electrical, and controls support to manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in line with standardized procedures, adapting to the dynamic needs of a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Engage in problem-solving initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Design, fabricate, assemble, and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, and servo drive systems.
  • Fabricate, machine, and repair jigs, fixtures, and components (metal, plastic, and wood) for various projects, equipment repairs, maintenance work orders, and machine modifications.
  • Program, troubleshoot, modify, and/or repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
  • Diagnose root causes, replace, and/or repair machine components such as cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks, including data entry into CMMS and documentation of work performed through written and electronic methods.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an Industrial Maintenance program is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance is required.
  • Availability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Preferred strong knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems, including motion/motor control, hydraulics/pneumatics, programmable logic controllers, robotics, variable frequency drives, and precision mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience in a CNC environment is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with FANUC robots, Yaskawa robots, and Mitsubishi PLCs is strongly preferred.
