We are in search of a Skilled Maintenance Technician for our Marion, AR facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various plant departments by conducting daily equipment troubleshooting in a highly automated automotive manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include performing breakdown maintenance, corrective maintenance, and preventative maintenance across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, maintain, test, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
- Utilize knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles to identify equipment malfunctions and restore functionality.
- Provide mechanical, electrical, and controls support to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems in accordance with established procedures, adapting to the dynamic needs of a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Engage in problem-solving initiatives to continuously enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
- Design, fabricate, assemble, and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, and servo drive systems.
- Fabricate, machine, and repair jigs, fixtures, and components (metal, plastic, and wood) for various projects and maintenance tasks.
- Program, troubleshoot, modify, and repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
- Diagnose root causes and replace or repair machine components such as cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings.
- Perform basic administrative duties, including data entry into CMMS and documentation of work performed through written and electronic methods.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an industrial maintenance program is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in industrial maintenance is required.
- Availability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Preferred knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems, including motion control, hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers, robotics, variable frequency drives, and precision mechanical assemblies.
- Experience in a CNC environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with FANUC robots, Yaskawa robots, and Mitsubishi PLCs is strongly preferred.
