StretchLab West Loop is currently seeking a high-energy, sales-driven individual who loves the fitness and wellness community.

This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm. StretchLab is growing and our beautiful new studio will be located in the West Loop neighborhood.

StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching. With co-founders coming from the personal training industry, StretchLab has created a variety of offerings to empower clients to ‘Live Long.’ StretchLab has gathered a team of experts already certified in an array of related fields – physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, pilates and more – and brought in the world’s leading authority on stretching and flexibility to deliver on the promise of having the finest team of stretching professionals gathered anywhere. StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist ™ training ensures that our clients receive a world class stretching session. StretchLab currently has over 400 locations open nationwide with plans for ongoing expansion.

POSITION:

The Studio Sales Associate will assist the General Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio and booking them into intro stretch sessions. The Studio Sales Associate also assists with retaining current members. Fitness knowledge or background is preferred, but not required.

This is a part-time or full-time hourly position, and we're looking for individuals who can commit to at least 20 hours per week.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to position and sell memberships for one-on-one assisted stretching services
  • Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system
  • Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email
  • As a key-holder, must be on-time for all shifts
  • Must have proficient computer skills
  • Occasional travel may be required for community events in/around Chicago
  • Experience in the fitness, wellness, or body movement space preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the General Manager with the sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
  • Book and confirm intro stretch sessions
  • Manage the front desk to greet and check-in clients and prospects when they enter the studio
  • Conduct new client introductions while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants
  • Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
  • Emphasize and enforce objectives of the studio as a fitness and wellness provider
  • Present available services to current or prospective members
  • Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota and follow-up with leads and missed intro sessions
  • Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote 1:1 assisted stretch services
  • Ensure studio is clean and tidy
  • Other duties as assigned
