In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards in our fabricated products, including piping and structural steel. Your inspections and attention to detail will ensure that our products meet and exceed industry standards.
Overview
The Quality Control Inspector is tasked with the daily inspection of fabricated products, such as piping and structural steel, ensuring they adhere to drawings and specifications promptly. This role encompasses a broad range of duties, including but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct welding inspections on fabricated piping and structural steel.
· Verify dimensions of fabricated piping and structural steel.
· Review project documentation to ensure material traceability.
· Accurately complete internal inspection checklists.
· Document product deficiencies and follow up with production to ensure corrections are made.
Required Education and Experience
· High School Diploma
· Proficiency in MS Office programs (Preferred)
· 3 years’ experience in manufacturing quality (Preferred)
· 3 years’ experience in fabrication
· Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in reading Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) and Isometric Drawings
· Excellent organizational skills and a methodical approach to tasks
