Job Summary

Campbell Consulting Services is seeking a highly skilled Coatings Inspector to join our team. As a Coatings Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of coatings applied to industrial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
  • Review and implement coating specifications, plans, and standards
  • Communicate with work crews, engineering, and management staff to ensure smooth project execution
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and findings
  • Perform hold-point inspections, including pre-blast initial condition analysis, abrasive blast inspection, and post-coating application inspection
  • Take ambient conditions and perform daily quality control checks
  • Work in a safe manner and observe safety rules
Requirements and Qualifications
  • NACE Level 1 minimum certification
  • NACE Level 2 or 3 preferred
  • Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards
  • Attention to detail and experience in construction and coatings
Preferred Qualifications
  • NACE Level 3 certification
  • SSPC/AMPP Protective Coating Specialist certification
  • API 653 Tank Inspector certification
  • AP 1169 Pipeline Inspector certification
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification
  • Welding NDT Certifications
  • AAMP/SSPC C-3/C-5 Lead Competent Person certification
  • SSPC Bridge Endorsement
  • NACE Bridge Endorsement
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) from BCSP
