Job Summary: As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the quality control program for our custodial services. You will perform quality inspections, train cleaning staff, and report on performance levels. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a custodial setting.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough quality control inspections of cleaning services provided by custodial staff to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols specifically tailored for cleaning and maintenance services.
  • Identify and recommend corrective actions to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are met.
  • Track and analyze data on quality control performance in custodial services to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal team members to ensure satisfaction with janitorial services.
  • Manage and prioritize cleaning projects to meet timelines and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Train and supervise custodial staff on best practices and protocols in cleaning and maintenance services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cleaning practices, industry trends, and new technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and industry guidelines specific to custodial services.
Qualifications:
  • At least three years of experience in janitorial or custodial services.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and quality control plans relevant to cleaning and maintenance services.
  • Experience as a Quality Control Inspector or Technician in custodial services preferred.
  • Experience supervising cleaning staff preferred.
  • Strong organizational, project planning, and management skills in a custodial context.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a custodial environment.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make recommendations for improvement in cleaning services.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a custodial setting.
  • Flexibility to work during non-standard hours if necessary.
Working Conditions:
  • This position requires work outside the office environment.
  • Use of a personal vehicle may be required; a valid driver's license is required.
  • Criminal record check required.
