Responsibilities:

  • Onboards new hires – schedule drug, physical and background check. Monitor status of pre- employment checks. Communicates with hiring manager and candidate. Compose offer letter.
  • Create files. Obtain W4 and I9 information. Enter into ADP, completes I9 and everify. Enter I9 information onto spreadsheet. Obtains email from MIS. Schedule and manage new hire orientation information. Assigns training. Assists during New Hire Orientation.
  • Process terminations – compose Benefit termination letter, GA DOL separation letter and exit interview instructions. Obtain signature and mail out packet. Enter termination into ADP, enter PTO to be paid out onto timesheet.
  • Job Changes – process all job changes. Calculate retro payments. Ensure the correct information is entered into ADP (Department number, job code, change date, change reason, pay rate, supervisor level code, pay rule, accrual rule).
  • Review Payroll – verify all PA changes are completed and correct on the payroll register.
  • Ensure any other changes are correct on the payroll register (credit union, Sheriff incentives, etc).
  • Verification of Employment – complete all verification of employment in a timely manner.
  • Posts and advertises vacant positions, coordinating with relevant departments to assure postings are correct.
  • Provides support to the Administrative Coordinator by filling in at the front desk as needed.
  • Performs other relevant work as assigned.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
