About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence specialist concentrating in modeling to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics that provide business insight and aid business decision-making. Uses querying languages like SQL, scripting languages, and other tools like Tableau or Excel to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions.
What You'll Do:
- Reporting
- Tableau Champion, use Tableau to query data and build dashboards
- Develop and maintain KPI data points and internal reporting.
- Develop and execute external-facing reporting through reporting tools.
- Lead data reporting team to drive consistency in delivery projects data.
- Data Collection and Preparation:
- Gather and organize large datasets from various sources.
- Cleanse and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to understand patterns and relationships.
- Statistical Modeling:
- Develop predictive models using statistical techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis.
- Apply machine learning algorithms to uncover insights and forecast future outcomes.
- Validate models for accuracy, reliability, and robustness.
- Data Visualization and Reporting:
- Create clear and informative visualizations to communicate findings and trends.
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing analysis results and key insights.
- Present findings to stakeholders in a compelling and understandable manner.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on analysis progress.
- Work closely with data engineers and IT professionals to optimize data workflows and infrastructure.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in data analysis techniques and tools.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance overall capabilities.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MS-SQL.
- Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
- Prior experience in industries such as finance, marketing, healthcare, or e-commerce is a plus
