Regional Sales Manager

By combining the latest technology with the personal experience of our dedicated team of logistics professionals, we find the best freight solutions for our customers and consistently deliver on their expectations, and we are looking for a motivated Sales/Business Development Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves strategic planning, market research, and working closely with the sales and marketing teams to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients, new markets, and new partnerships.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients, demonstrating the value of GTS's products/services.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to create campaigns and promotional materials that support sales efforts.
- Sales Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train junior sales staff, fostering a team-oriented, results-driven environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and implement effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
