REGIONAL SALES / INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION

Allied Automation, Inc., a growing high-technology distributor, seeks a REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE for Fort Wayne and surrounding counties in Northeast IN.


Work from your home office when not traveling to customer sites.

Allied strives to reduce the daily stress and uncertainty associated with designing, building, implementing, and maintaining high-performance production equipment and systems.


  • Monitor progress toward goals, making necessary adjustments to reach objectives.
  • Develop and support sales strategies and objectives to expand market share in the region.
  • Initiate and develop contact with key and target customers to establish strong relationships.
  • Develop knowledge in the primary product areas, including Robotics, PLC, HMI, Servos/Motion Control, Safety Devices, Sensors, and Networking.
  • Consult on applications with customers in the primary product areas.
  • Consistently use PC-based software to document sales opportunities and coordinate required sales activities between other regions and management.
  • Travel is required/territory - Fort Wayne, IN and surrounding counties; occasional domestic travel may be required for training to Indianapolis.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business, prefer experience in Industrial Automation or Industrial Automation Machinery is a plus.
  • Ability to develop a customer base and generate sales to accommodate goals and consultative sales ability.
  • Strong negotiating, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of conducting technical and sales presentations to key clients.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of follow-through.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The total compensation awarded is $120-$150K plus commissions, earning potential of $200K. You will also receive an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance with three weeks of vacation, holidays, and a matching 401K plan.
