Do you have a passion for teaching young children? Next Generation Georgia Campus is looking for a Preschool Teacher.

We are looking for a Teacher who loves the outdoors and who is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage in the classroom maintaining compliance with teacher/child ratios as directed by the supervisor
  • Supervise and monitor children's indoor and outdoor activities
  • Keep records of children's progress, routines, and interests and relaying needed information to parents
  • Assist with curriculum planning and preparing for daily activities
  • Assist in preparing food and serving meals
  • Assist with completion of daily cleaning checklists, start/end of day duties
  • Maintain a clean and sterile environment

Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience. 3 yrs Preferred

Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.

High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.

A strong understanding of child development.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.

Must clear full background check

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $20.00 - $26.00/hour.
