Our experienced attorneys represent clients in all aspects of litigation throughout California and aggressively defend litigation filed against its clients.

We are a small, fast-paced law firm seeking a qualified Legal Assistant with two to four years of experience working in a law firm supporting real estate litigation cases. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents.
  • Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to format and create legal documents and pleadings.
  • File documents with various courts (traditional and e-filings).
  • Calendaring.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively individually and as a part of a team.
  • Effectively manage workloads without a lot of supervision.
  • React with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround.
  • Knowledge of court rules and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong proofreading capabilities.
