Salary: $17-$19/hourly depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time | Flexibility Monday – Saturday | Flexibility between 7:30am – 8:30pm | In-office

Our beautiful Beginnings Birth Center is a freestanding birth center located in Colorado Springs, CO. We are seeking a full-time Receptionist & Billing Office Assistant to join our team who has a strong interest and passion for women’s healthcare. The ideal candidate will be adept at communication, both with clients and team members, thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and has a strong desire to learn, grow and be adaptable. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, contributing to a positive experience for our clients and supporting the billing department.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

●        High School diploma or G.E.D.

●        Previous healthcare, front office administrative work experience preferred.

●        Previous healthcare billing experience a plus.

●        Experience with computers is essential.

●        Proficiency with Google Suite preferred.

●        Experience with EHR Systems preferred (AdvancedMD EHR, a plus).

●        Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:

●        Open and close the front desk/family room.

●        Maintain cleanliness and organization of the family room.

●        Greet and check-in clients during clinic hours.

●        Handle incoming communications including telephone calls, texts, emails, social media messages and EHR system messages.

●        Manage clinic office scheduling.

●        Oversee the lending library.

●        Support the billing department and perform entry-level billing administrative duties.

●        Represents Beginnings Birth Center in a professional manner to the community.

●        Other duties as assigned to the front desk and billing department.
