Overview: As a Bilingual Spanish Screener and Recruitment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the recruitment process by identifying and screening candidates who are fluent in Spanish for various job positions within the organization. Your responsibilities will include assessing candidates' language proficiency, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate Screening: Conduct initial screenings of potential candidates to assess their fluency in Spanish, as well as their qualifications and suitability for specific job roles.
- Language Proficiency Assessment: Evaluate candidates' language skills in Spanish through verbal and written communication to determine their proficiency level.
- Recruitment Coordination: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements for bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified candidates, both in person and via virtual platforms, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Candidate Evaluation: Assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for the organization, providing feedback to hiring managers to support decision-making.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities, including interview notes and assessment results. Generate reports on recruitment metrics and outcomes as needed.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Proactively source and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and professional networks, to build a pipeline of qualified bilingual talent.
- Compliance and Diversity: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process. Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives in candidate sourcing and selection.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or related fields preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and documentation.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
