We are seeking an Order Buyer to manage merchandise reordering and ensure smooth inventory flow. You’ll support the buying team by analyzing sales trends, handling purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors to maintain optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Analyze sales data to forecast needs and process purchase orders. Adjust order quantities and shipping dates as needed.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with buyers to resolve vendor issues and communicate any changes in orders directly to vendors.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with logistics, accounting, and other internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle related administrative duties and assist with special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Certification: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree desirable or equivalent experience.
  • Required Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), word processing, spreadsheet applications, and web-based tools. Understanding of reordering, merchandise flow, and customer behaviors.
  • Experience Required: At least four years of experience in replenishment.
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Proficient in word processing.
    • Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Ability to interpret industry data and perform basic arithmetic regularly.
