Photolithography Assembler III Role

This role involves working in the Photolithography and Metal Sputtering rooms on complex assignments that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. As a Photolithography Assembler III, you'll have the breadth of knowledge and skills to be successful in other manufacturing areas with minimal training. You'll work closely with technicians, engineers, the machine shop, buyers, production controllers, and software engineers, demonstrating a high level of computer proficiency and communication skills, including written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities

As a Photolithography Assembler III, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Operating the Photolithography Process, loading and unloading darkroom and sputtering combs, baking and inspecting sensor strands, and using the Di-Electric Sputtering machine with rough schematics, blueprints, or technical manuals.
  • Performing Preventive Maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment in the Photolithography and Sputtering rooms.
  • Consistently improving the process to help the assigned area meet production goals.
  • Performing complex variables testing and diagnostics requiring judgment to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Assisting in writing work instructions and training other employees on more complicated processes.
  • Working with highly technical systems, including computer software, robots, oscilloscopes, delicate fiber optics, and cameras.
  • Collaborating with Engineering on enhancements to products or other changes implemented through Engineering Change Orders.
  • Working with buyers to create purchase orders as needed.
  • Performing multiple functions in SAP, including entering data and running reports.
  • Performing daily organization and cleanup of the work area.
  • FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY GUIDELINES AND REPORTING UNSAFE CONDITIONS TO SUPERVISOR.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Formal production-related training, including Lean Manufacturing and using SAP, is desired.
  • Must have successfully performed at the Assembler II level.
  • Has demonstrated a strong commitment to process improvement and embracing change.

  • High technical aptitude, especially in electronics.
  • Ability to work from complicated drawings, procedures, and technical manuals.
  • Strong computer skills. Proficient in using SAP and acts as a resource for others.
  • Ability to train others on more complex procedures and assemblies.
  • Excellent math, reading, writing, and reasoning skills.
