Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lakeshore Employment Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Physically examine the property on a regular basis to identify and address any maintenance needs.
  • Manage repairs and maintenance with vendors, ensuring the proper care of the property and its assets.
  • Maintain pools, landscaping, utilities, roads, signage, clubhouse, and other community infrastructure elements to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
  • Supervise outside contractors working on the property, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Adhere to all maintenance and purchasing directives, including property inspections, maintenance assignments, utility system readings and controls, landscaping and grounds, safety, and special maintenance items.
  • Prepare inventory homes for sale or rent, ensuring they are in a clean and safe condition.
  • Troubleshoot any needs for the property, identifying and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum of two (2) years general experience in building trades, plumbing (interior and exterior required), repair and replacement maintenance or handy work.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • Ability to use email and other digital tools.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with 3 years of good driving history.

Work Environment

The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the property is maintained to a high standard. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, following appropriate safety procedures.
