Position Overview

As a construction bid coordinator at Thermosystems, your primary responsibility will be managing the bid documents from contractors, keeping track of customers bidding projects, and sending quotes to customers. You’ll collaborate with our applied sales teams as the first point of contact for quote requests on HVAC projects for new facilities, additions, and renovation projects. Thermosystems provides a comprehensive training program covering for new team members.

Responsibilities

  • Field customer emails for new projects/quote requests
  • Review direct email quote requests and customer sites for new jobs and addenda
  • Create new projects, and track customers and bid dates on our internal ERP system
  • Download all bid documents onto Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Review mechanical schedules on plans for equipment to quote
  • Notify sales teams of new projects and addenda
  • Create the bid list for the sales team weekly
  • Request quotes from other reps for projects out of Northern Illinois territory
