Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a full time  Civil Project Estimator for Wet Utilities 

Responsibilities:

  • Search out jobs to bid, understand bid docs, able to read plans and drawings
  • Pre – bid / job meetings
  • Create bid scope - required labor, material, equipment within project timeframe
  • Scheduling man, equipment power
  • Identify when a job conflict arises to submit an RFI and / or a CP
  • Relations with vendors, agencies, employees
  • Perform Plan take-offs

Qualifications, a MUST:

  • Minimum 3 years in Wet Utilities experience 
  • Hands on field experience in underground utilities – sewer, water, SD, basins, fire
  • Knowledge of dry utilities - gas
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, - know / familiar with other programs 
  • Knowledge of civil/public works
  • Clean driving record/Valid CA driver’s license
  • Excellent communicator
