About the Role:

At Billing Document Specialists (BDS), our customer service/account managers play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless experiences for our clients. From guiding new customers through onboarding our services to addressing their ongoing needs, you'll be at the forefront of our customer interactions. Our diverse range of services includes printing and mailing statements/invoices, electronic/paperless statements, online bill presentment and payment portals, electronic payments, IVR phone payments, lockbox services, and more.

As an integral member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to master all facets of our services, eventually evolving into the go-to expert of our customer service efforts. Additionally, you'll play a key role in our year-end tax form printing and mailing process, collaborating closely with clients to ensure smooth file uploads, sample proofing, and final approval for printing and mailing.

  • Communication Expert: Exceptional communication skills are a must-have. You'll be adept at engaging with customers, developers, production teams, and fellow customer service colleagues to ensure clarity and efficiency in all interactions.
  • Innovative Thinker: We're seeking someone who thrives on driving process improvements and efficiencies. Your ability to analyze existing processes and implement innovative solutions will be instrumental in enhancing our operations and customer experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: A strong technical aptitude is essential. You'll serve as the bridge between our technical offerings and non-technical clients, effectively conveying complex concepts and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Lifelong Learner Mentality: Curiosity and a hunger for knowledge are valued traits. Whether it's resolving issues independently or seeking out resources for solutions, you'll embody a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a technical role (helpful, not required), coupled with proven success in team management, will set you up for success in this role.
