Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor/Maintenance Manager

Department: Maintenance
Job Description:We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain dependable operations of production and quality systems by ensuring safe and efficient function of all machinery and mechanical equipment. They must be able to diagnose and repair machine issues in an efficient timely manner. In addition, they must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action. Must effectively convey ideas, images and goals to a diverse group of personalities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting of complex control systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as required on specified production machinery.
  • Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Maintain parts, tools, and supplies inventory by following established programs within the department.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with established procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience with multi-crafted skills.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.
  • Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, gauges and dials.
  • Licensed to operate forklift equipment.
  • Proven steady work history.
  • Possess initiative and ingenuity.
  • Can verbally communicate with staff and vendors.
  • Basic math and units of measurement.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
