Job Title: Call Center Representative - Student Loan Collections

Location: Mesa, AZ

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $19.50 per hour + increase to $22 per hour + Bonus upon hire

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Call Center Representative to join our team in Mesa, AZ. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle outbound calls for student loan collections. The ideal candidate will have experience in collections or cold calling and must be able to handle objections effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to individuals with outstanding student loans.
  • Negotiate repayment plans and handle objections professionally.
  • Document all interactions and update account information accurately.
  • Follow company policies and legal guidelines for debt collection.
  • Achieve performance targets and contribute to team goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in collections or cold calling.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle objections and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for documentation.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
