Integrated Staffing is seeking a Project Manager for our Renewable Energy client to support initiatives with the New York State Department of Housing Community and Renewal (HCR) and the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). This remote role involves managing multiple initiatives, administering programs, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. A key focus will be managing an initiative to evaluate heat pump retrofit projects in New York City and State.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management for multiple initiatives, including administering programs and managing contractor teams.
  • Manage a comprehensive initiative to monitor and evaluate heat pump retrofit projects and associated systems.
  • Collaborate with our Renewable Energy client to establish project tracking processes and ensure compliance with timelines and deliverables.
  • Support the development and implementation of new strategies for market engagement.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, including building owners, project teams, and contractors.
  • Enter project data into our Renewable Energy client’s management platforms and provide regular reporting.
  • Assist in developing and managing RFPs, program improvements, and contract oversight.

Project Manager Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of project management experience.
  • Strong skills in project management, contract management, and external communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and other MS Office tools.
  • Experience with energy efficiency retrofits, especially heat pump systems, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HVAC system monitoring, data collection, and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in engineering, building sciences, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications in sustainability/energy efficiency/building science are a plus (e.g., LEED, MFBA, CEM, PHI/PHIUS).

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in both independent and team settings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

IT Systems Knowledge:

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and other tools related to project management is a plus.
