Role Description:

As a Renewable Energy Project Specialist, you will be integral to our USA Project Development Team. Your main focus will be the identification and assessment of potential commercial ventures in renewable energy, with an emphasis on solar power and energy storage solutions.

You will collaborate with our specialists in negotiating land acquisition and lease agreements, as well as navigating the processes for grid connections and necessary permits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate land restrictions and conditions.
  • Identify landowners and engage in negotiations.
  • Assess solar or wind resources and design layouts for proposed facilities.
  • Assist in managing various stages of project development.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems, including legal adherence and monitoring of applicable procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience in sales and/or Renewable Energy Project Development is preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel within New Jersey.
  • Valid driver's license.
