We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Director to oversee and manage mechanical construction projects. This role involves leading project teams, ensuring successful project execution, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The position offers flexibility for local or travel-based assignments depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership:

    • Direct and manage mechanical construction projects from initiation to completion.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
    • Lead project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.

  2. Financial Management:

    • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial performance.
    • Review and approve project-related financial documentation, including change orders and invoices.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  3. Schedule Oversight:

    • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project phases.
    • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
    • Coordinate with all stakeholders to resolve scheduling conflicts.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechanical construction management, with at least 5 years in a director-level role or similar capacity.

  • Skills:
    • Proven leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Solid understanding of mechanical systems, construction methods, and safety regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
