Temp-to-hire

$24-$27 based on experience 

Night shift 5:30pm-5:00am

 

A leader specialty steel plate distributor and processor, with a comprehensive inventory of carbon & alloy plate, as well as unique mix of processing capabilities is seeking an experienced Burner to join their team. 

 

Burner Responsibilities:

  • Experienced in machine set up and programming while maintaining equipment in a safe and productive manner.
  • Read, understand and comprehend company work orders.
  • Read, understand and comprehend basic blueprints, drawings and software program nests.
  • Maintain traceability of all plate material and parts produced.
  • Accurately use basic measuring devices, including but not limited to, tape measures and calipers.
  • Accurately use hand hold tools such as wrenches and clamps.
  • Complete ink markings and die stamp per international and company policies and procedures.
  • Operate a forklift and overhead crane as needed.
  • Perform First Article inspections as required.

 

Burner Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and work orders
  • Forklift and overhead crane experience 
  • Must have 3 years Kinetic 5000 Plasma experience 
  • Must have 3 years experience running a Kinetic 5000 Combination Spindle 
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
