Job DescriptionJoin a leading industrial firm as a 2nd shift Oxy Burner in a temp-to-hire position. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating cutting equipment to perform precise metal cutting tasks. You'll ensure the quality and accuracy of your work while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. • Experienced in machine set up and programming while maintaining equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
• Part processing with maximum productivity
• Ability to interact with other shop personnel in an efficient manner as to minimize mistakes.
• Maintain traceability of all plate material and parts produced.
• Efficient scrap utilization.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
• At least 3 years of experience Oxy burning experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests.
• Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
