Job Summary:

This is an entry-level position that does not require previous experience.  Expected hours per week will be around 30.  The candidate should possess a high level of dependability and eagerness to learn.

Assists to maintain quality standards by inspecting incoming materials, in-process production and finished products; records quality results.

Assists with maintaining the calibration system for company-wide list of measurement tools.

Will receive daily assignments from the QA Inspector.  Will report to the QA Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspects incoming materials, in-process production and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; determines pass or fail status and reports findings to established team for disposition instructions.  Carries out disposition instructions to achieve “passing” products.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizes re-work results.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and use of proper PPE.
  • Accomplishes Organization’s Quality Policy by completing related tasks as needed.

Job Skill Preferences

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Excel, specifically)

Basic ability to read Machined Part Drawings/Schematics

Basic ability to learn to read and interpret multiple Manual Gages (i.e. Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height and Depth Gages, Gage Pins, Johansson Blocks etc.)

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Building on our power plant related technology, Liburdi has moved into the Oil, Gas and Chemical industries supporting North America's growth.
