Job Overview: 

Your primary responsibility is to devise and execute a comprehensive sales plan that results in the acquisition of net new customers and new incremental revenue from our existing client base. You will actively engage with potential clients, assess their needs, and offer customized pest management solutions. The role requires a combination of sales acumen, product knowledge, and excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong client relationships. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Quota Achievement 

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. 

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve sales goals. 

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation 

  • Identify and pursue potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, door-to-door visits, networking events, and referrals. 

  • Maintain a lead database and manage a sales funnel of potential customers. 

  • Client Consultation 

  • Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to assess pest issues. 

  • Clearly communicate findings to clients, explaining the recommended pest control solutions. 

  • Tailor service proposals to meet the specific needs of each client. 

  • Sales Presentations 

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight the benefits of our pest control services. 

  • Address client concerns and objections effectively. 

  • Provide accurate and transparent pricing information. 

  • Customer Relationship Management 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. 

  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process and strategically develop relationships within the community to optimize possible referrals and new sales. 

  • Product Knowledge 

  • Stay current on industry trends, pest control methods, and the features of our services. 

  • Clearly articulate the advantages of our services over competitors. 

  • Collaboration 

  • Work closely with the pest control operations/service team to ensure smooth transitions from sales to service delivery. 

  • Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to improve overall service offerings. 

  • Documentation and Reporting 

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, proposals, and contracts. 

  • Generate regular reports on sales performance and present findings to the management team. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the pest control or related industry. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Knowledge of common pests, pest control methods, and industry is a plus. 

  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset. 

 

Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in sales or a related field is advantageous. 

 

Compensation & Benefits:  

  •  Potential bonus opportunities upward of six figures. 

  •  $50,000 annual base salary
